Manchester United have added a further pre-season match in Japan as part of their summer tour of the Asia-Pacific region.
Sir Alex Ferguson’s team will play Cerezo Osaka in Nagai Stadium, Osaka on 26 July. Cerezo is the former team of United’s midfielder Shinji Kagawa. This match will follow their meeting with Yokohama F. Marinos in the Nissan Stadium in Yokohama, the venue for the 2002 FIFA World Cup final, on 23 July.
The Japan leg of United’s tour comes after they visit Australia, where they will play against the Australian A-League All Stars in Sydney on 20 July.
After Japan, the team travel on to Hong Kong to take on Kitchee FC, on July 29.
