Selling Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez to Premier League rivals Manchester United makes no sense according to pundit Jamie Redknapp.
The Red Devils have emerged as surprise front leaders to signing the Chilean international despite it appearing as though Manchester City had the transfer wrapped up.
Suddenly it’s a chase between the two Manchester sides on who can offer more to the Gunners and Sanchez himself with Jose Mourinho determined to get his man.
Reportedly the London club are looking for a fee around £35m whilst City are only willing to go as high as £20m for a player whose contract runs out in the summer.
