Ian Wright has rather surprisingly admitted that Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho will always be considered as the ‘special one’.
The Portuguese boss famously called himself such when he first arrived to England to join Chelsea having just won the Champions League with Porto.
Mourinho was heralded as a brilliant tactician following his exploits with the Portuguese team and continued to enjoy success with the London club.
His time at Inter Milan and Real Madrid were also considered to be positive with his ability not coming into question until his return to the Blues.
Following his sacking after winning the title on his return to Stamford Bridge, Mourinho was suddenly labelled as outdated but Wright believes no one can ever consider him as anything but special.
