Serb should be nearing peak fitness in the not too distant future.
Manchester United captain Nemanja Vidic says that he will soon be back to full fitness as the club’s campaign reaches its critical juncture.
The Serbia international first suffered the knee problem in a Champions League group-stage fixture at Basel in 2011, while he has also experienced swelling in the same area having made his long-awaited comeback earlier this season.
However, of late the 31-year-old has started in only 14 fixtures for United since Dec 2011 with the defender looking to “manage” the injury as the club reaches the climax to its season.
“With playing Wednesday and Saturday, some games I have to think if it’s good for myself to play or not,” Vidic told BBC Radio Manchester.
