Manchester United interested in signing Croatian wonderkid Alen Halilovic

According to the Daily Mail, Manchester United cheif executive David Gill flew out to Zagreb on Tuesday to discuss an incredible £12m move for Croatian wonderkid Alen Halilovic. It certainly seems like a lot of money to pay for an unproven, raw talent, but it wouldn’t be the first time Sir Alex has moved quickly to secure the services of a wonderkid. He paid a similar fee for United legend Cristiano Ronaldo, who was later sold for £80m.
