Tottenham Hotspur have told Manchester United that they will need to table an offer worth £50m for midfielder Eric Dier, according to reports.
Jose Mourinho has identified the 23-year-old, who made 48 appearances last season, as a potential replacment for Michael Carrick in the long term.
Other reported targets include Paris Saint Germain’s Blaise Matuidi, Monaco’s Tiemoue Bakayoko and Chelsea’s Nemanja Matic.
And according to the Telegraph‘s Sam Wallace, Mourinho will have to shell out £50m for the midfielder’s services this summer.
Now, I’ve been very supportive of the 54-year-old’s supposed targets so far: Victor Lindelof, Ivan Perisic and Alvaro Morata are all players capable of improving this side with a designated role.
