Manchester United have cooled their interest in Bordeaux forward Malcom this January and will place emphasis on securing a striker instead, according to reports.
Jose Mourinho, having failed to secure a winger over the summer, was reportedly lining up a £30m deal for the Brazilian wide man in January.
But Man United’s tone has changed emphatically over the last week, with reports suggesting the club was now focused on securing a deal for Alexis Sanchez while Arsenal have lined up Malcom as a replacement.
And according to M.E.N‘s Samuel Luckhurst, United have not, as reportedly earlier this month, entered negotiations to sign Malcom and will instead push to sign a striker over the January transfer window.
