Jose Mourinho has launched an attack on the British media a few days before the start of the 2018-19 season due to the treatment of Manchester United.
The club has been at the focal point of media attention for decades, which is no surprise due to the sheer magnitude of Man United, and that has more downfalls than it does benefits.
In his latest rant, Mourinho has called out the media for how they covered United throughout and after the 2017-18 season in which he led them to second place in the Premier League, the highest finish since Sir Alex Ferguson’s retirement.
Speaking in his press conference ahead of Friday night’s season curtain-raiser against Leicester City at Old Trafford, Mourinho didn’t hold back: “It is difficult for me to believe that we finished second.
