Injury concerns for Man United star at World Cup, misses England training


Marcus Rashford has missed the first England training session in Russia with an ankle problem ahead of the 2018 World Cup.
The 20-year-old picked up what manager Gareth Southgate described as a ‘slight knock’ on Monday, the day before the squad jetted off to the team training base in Repino.
England’s players and coaching staff landed in St Petersburg on Tuesday afternoon ahead of their first session on Wednesday as preparations fully commence.
Rashford’s injury is not thought to be serious with his absence simply a precaution and it seems like he’ll be in full contention to take part in Monday night’s opener against Tunisia in Volgograd.
