Fabio da Silva ‘pleased’ to see Rafael da Silva score against QPR


Brazil defender is on loan at Loftus Road from Man Utd this season.
On-loan Queens Park Rangers defender Fabio da Silva has admitted that he nearly celebrated his twin brother’s opening goal for Manchester United at Loftus Road on Saturday, says the Daily Mail.
The Brazilian full back was not playing in the Premier League encounter in west London, but was still happy to see Rafael score one of the goals of the season nonetheless.
“I was pleased to see my brother score a goal like that. Naturally I wanted to celebrate. But I was sat next to the QPR president!” Fabio told Globoesporte.
“I told him afterwards: ‘You never score goals like that! You had to do it against my team!’” But I was happy for him.
