Crystal Palace find themselves in a deep turmoil ahead of their home game against Southampton on Saturday.
The Eagles sit at the bottom of the table after losing their opening four games without scoring a goal. Following their 1-0 defeat at Burnley on Sunday, Palace fired manager Frank de Boer and replaced him with former England manager Roy Hodgson.
This decision has received widespread criticism in the media, and Hodgson would now be under even more pressure to produce quick results for the South London side. The Saints are not exactly an easy opponent, but the “new manager” factor could also work in the favour of the hosts in the game.
