Manchester United has long since been interested in signing Robert Lewandowski from Borussia Dortmund. However, Sky Sports reports on Dec. 6 that the BVB manager has no intention of allowing his star Polish striker leave the club in January.
Rumors continue to build on the chance that Sir Alex Ferguson can sign the former teammate of summer acquisition Shinji Kagawa. The Polish attacker has been one of Manchester United’s primary targets since they failed to land him this summer in the same deal that brought Kagawa to the English Premier League side.
Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp was adamant in his press conference this week that Lewandowski was going nowhere in the coming transfer window:
