Bayern Munich have confirmed that they will not pursue the signature of Cristiano Ronaldo this summer amid false reports of the German champions expressing an interest in the 32-year-old.
Ronaldo has made an “irreversible” decision to leave Real Madrid following a series of tax fraud allegations and subsequent onslaught from the Spanish media.
The forward, according to reports, would prefer a move back to Old Trafford, where he spent six years, but Paris Saint Germain are willing to match any bid made by Ed Woodward.
But Bayern have made it emphatically clear via an official club statement that they will not enter the race to sign the forward this summer.
