Victor Lindelof has insisted that he is not bothered by his £31m transfer fee after arriving at Manchester United last week.
The Swede, who claimed two Primeira Liga titles with Benfica, officially completed a move to Old Trafford on Wednesday, signing a four year contract.
His £31m fee makes him Man United’s third most expensive centre back of all time, coming just behind Rio Ferdinand and Eric Bailly.
But Lindelof, when asked by Swedish outlet Aftonbladet about his transfer fee, made it clear that he was more focused on starting work under Jose Mourinho.
“I don’t think about that,” he insisted.
“I don’t think it’s good to do so. I’m here to play football and perform as well as possible for Manchester United.
