Bad news for Tom Cleverley

Tom Cleverley was replaced before half time by Paul Scholes after pulling up with an injury and Sir Alex Ferguson confirmed after the game that it was a calf injury.
“We’ll assess Tom in the morning. He felt his calf a little but it’s not good news. We’ll see what he’s like tomorrow,” Sir Alex confirmed.
According to Physioroom, first degree calf muscle strains should be rested from strenuous activities for 3 weeks, second degree strains for 4 to 6 weeks and third degree strains for 3 months.
